Ultimate Speed Challenge practice runs went from noon until 3 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, July 23rd. This was a GREAT time to see all
of the Ultimate Speed cars and get some idea of who may the fastest on race day!
Below are pictures of some of our competitors:
First is Tim Troyer from Wayne-Holmes County. Tim is about 6'3" tall. His car
features an unusual steering system controlled by a turn of his wrist and a hand brake operated by a rip cord. In spite of
Tim's large size his car is very well streamlined and includes a long windshield to improve the aerodynamics of the car. Look
for Tim to turn in some fast times this year!
