Here are more photos I think you'll enjoy.

These pictures showcase the Danna Thomas 'Danna Banana" racer which this year featured SIX WHEELS on 3 axles. Word has it that after what they believed was a disappointing practice session on Thursday, they made the decision to return to Maryland and fetch a different set of luge wheels for their racer. That's a long way to go in an attempt to win, but it doesn't surprise me because that's one of the great things about this division: there is lots of room for innovation and we are all willing to do whatever it takes [within the rules] to gain every advantage possible. As it turned out the Spider Thomas Racing Team performed well on Saturday -- but not well enough to win.

And, finally, the Danna Banana team's preferred

view by the other teams: seeing them from behind!

Here are some pictures of the "Eliminators" racing team car.  This "stick car" whose crew chief is Jack Barr was piloted by Lynelle McClellan and featured a clear cockpit cover and extreme streamlining. When all was said and done this car proved to be the fastest in the 2007 Ultimate Speed Challenge.  Congratulations to Jack and Lynelle on their victory!!
